Welcome to Menopause Health
Menopause Health is a new clinic based in Dublin bringing Irish women access to the best advice
and individualised care from the time of perimenopause.
Dr. Caoimhe Hartley
Menopause Health was established by Dr. Caoimhe Hartley in Dublin in 2021. Caoimhe’s goal is to deliver excellence in menopause care by specialist, accredited experts. Consultations can be in-person or remotely so patients from across Ireland can be seen.
Menopause Care For You
Most women can expect to be postmenopausal for at least a third of their life. Good mental, physical and sexual health is something we all deserve. We have a patient-centred, holistic approach, looking at lifestyle options, HRT and alternatives to HRT.
Professional and Experienced
Dr. Hartley has developed her skills and expertise in the area of women’s health and menopause care. Awarded membership of the Irish College of General Practice in 2013, obtaining diplomate status with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists in 2012 and achieving a certificate in Women’s Health from the ICGP.
In-person, Online and Phone
We take into account what your priorities and goals are for your own treatment with excellent follow-up to ensure that you are fully supported throughout this journey. We can provide consultations in-person at our clinic, but also online and over the phone. Contact us to learn more.
What is Menopause?
Menopause is the medical term given to the time in a woman’s life when she is no longer producing important hormones from her ovaries. A woman is considered to be menopausal when she has had a full year without a natural period.
This loss of hormonal production can have a significant impact on your emotional, physical and sexual wellbeing. Your long-term health is also affected by losing these hormones and a the risks of heart disease and osteoporosis (bone density loss) significantly increase from the time of menopause onwards.
Tailored Menopause Care
We are all different and at Menopause Health, we recognise that there is no “one size fits all” approach. We want to allow women become empowered by knowledge regarding their own health; what options are available to them, why it is so important to address health in perimenopause and menopause and why no woman should have to “put up” with any perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms that may be impacting her quality of life.
Although menopause can occur earlier, the average age to become menopausal in Ireland is 51. However, women may find that they experience symptoms of perimenopause from much earlier in their life. Have more questions? Contact us for a consultation.
We are located in the courtyard, behind Doyles Butchers on the Main Street of Dalkey.
The Clinic is on the ground floor of the building that faces the street
